A little preparation makes your visit faster. Here is what to bring and what to expect.
Bring these
- A photo ID. A driver’s license or other government photo ID works best.
- Your employer’s paperwork, if they gave you any. This might be an order form, a donor pass or an order number.
- Your employer’s name and a contact person. We may need it to send the right paperwork.
- Glasses, if you need them to read and sign forms.
Good to know
- Book or request a time online, or call or text us. We confirm the time and location.
- Drink normally. You do not need to drink extra water. Drinking a lot can make the sample too dilute.
- Leave bags and coats outside the restroom. You will be asked to empty your pockets. This is a normal part of the process.
- Plan for about 20 minutes. Most urine and hair collections are quick. Paperwork can add a few minutes.
For a breath alcohol test
Avoid mouthwash, breath spray and eating right before your test. You may be asked to wait a short time before the test starts.
For a hair test
Do not cut your hair very short before your test. The collector needs enough hair for the sample.
